Our Mission & What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Our Mission

present christ

We present Christ through our words and actions. We present Christ individually and as a community of faith.

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion,“Your God reigns!” - Isaiah 52:7

build bridges into the community

Bridges are designed to connect things that are naturally separated. Bridges are expensive and hard to build. They must traverse gaps. But so worth it when complete.

We can't save people; we can help them cross from death to life.  We are bridge builders who are called to span the distance between the community and the church.

strengthen family and faith

Our commission from Jesus is to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything He commanded us to do. - Matthew 28:19-20

Discipleship and becoming a follower of Christ is about learning to walk with God. We help those rusted and busted, to grow in their faith with our weekly activities.

What we believe - Our 4 Core Doctrinal Beliefs

On our purpose –

The church’s primary purpose is to worship God, build up the body of Christ, and evangelize the world (Matthew 28:19-20).  This means pointing all to the life, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and His free offer of redemption from the penalty of sin. (Romans 3:24; Ephesians 1:7)

On the Holy Spirit –

We subscribe to and promote the baptism in the Holy Spirit which equips us for ministry and enables living the Christian life boldly. (Acts 1:8; 2:17-18)

On healings &
divine miracles –

We believe that miracles and divine healing are for this present generation in the same way they were for the first century. (Luke 9:1-2; John 14:12)

On the return
of Christ (Rapture) –

Finally, we look for the imminent return of Christ to meet His bride, the true church, in the air and His subsequent bodily return to Earth. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Acts 1:11)
