Special Moments In Israel
Somewhere in Israel, you are likely to have a spiritual encounter that will strike you unexpectedly. In that sacred instant, a profound realization washes over you like a gentle wave or a ton of bricks! For me, it happened on the Sea of Galilee. As our boat glided from south to north across its tranquil waters, it hit me—the Galilee is where Jesus spent nearly three-quarters of his earthly ministry. I was utterly overwhelmed by the truth that here, Jesus walked on water and calmed raging storms. In the serene breeze and lapping ripples, I sensed His divine majesty and sovereign power in a vivid and life-giving way. I can hardly wait for you to have one of those moments!

Another wonderful place is the Garden Tomb. Standing in the serene Garden Tomb just outside Jerusalem's Old City walls, I felt the weight of history and faith converge in a profound way. The peaceful first-century garden, blooming with olive trees and flowers, offered a stark contrast to the bustling city nearby— a quiet reminder of the Scriptures' description of Jesus' burial place.
Then came the view of Golgotha: the rocky hillside with its unmistakable skull-like features etched into the stone. Seeing it in person stirred something deep within, making the crucifixion feel immediate and real, no longer just words on a page.
The grand finale was entering the empty tomb itself. Carved into the rock, with the stone rolled away, it stood as a powerful testament: "He is not here; He is risen." In that sacred space, our group gathered to partake in communion, breaking bread and sharing the cup in gratitude. We celebrated our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, whose victory over death echoes eternally. This visit left an indelible mark on my soul—a renewal of hope and joy in the resurrection.
