We will explore Psalm 22, a Messianic Psalm of David, with a review of the background of that genre of Scripture and how Judaism looked for a Messiah. This Psalm is the most quoted one in the New Testament. It proclaims a few of the many prophecies concerning the Messiah, the anointed One, that were fulfilled in the life of Jesus Christ.
This Psalm ministers to us by showing us how to pray, process and trust our anointed one, Jesus Christ.
