This weekend we conclude Summer Selah with the Songs of Ascent (Psalms 120–134). These ancient travel songs call us to live as pilgrims in a strange land pressing upward toward the city whose architect and builder is God. From holy discontent to daily dependence and the sure hope of our heavenly home, the message invites us to keep climbing. Some will mark that journey publicly through baptism this weekend. Come pause with us, then keep walking the upward road.
